2010 Spring Fundraiser — The Icebreaker!
Our annual Spring fundraising this year will be on Sat April 3rd at the Weston Community Center at 7pm. At this year’s “Icebreaker” we will have a live band and a good time will be had by all.
As you all know by now, crew is an expensive sport (boats, oars, ergs, launches and other Capital Equipment etc all add up). The crew program is structured so that we can cover our annual operating expenses with the registration fees we collect but we depend on the ergathon in the Fall and the Icebreaker in the Spring to raise enough money to fund all of our Capital Equipment.
Admission: $75 per person – we are hoping to get at least 100 people to attend.

Four Silent Auction Items: We will be selling just 4 items at the event:
- a flight for up to three people with a certified flight instructor from Hanscom Field in a single engine plane to your favorite local destination (Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket etc.) for the day or a scenic flight over much of the Bay State
- a sculling lesson/session provided by our coaches
- four seats, center court, 16 rows off the floor, to the Celtics v Milwaukee on Wed April 14th (the last regular season home game of the year)
- a long weekend stay on the water at Lake Winnipesaukee
