Ergathon-Learn to Row-Pancake Breakfast

Posted by Barbara Sheffels

Our fall fundraiser is coming up this Saturday, September 26!

The ergathon:  Our rowers will row in teams on the ergometers or ergs (rowing machines) to earn the pledge money they have raised.  Come and cheer them on!

The learn to row:  Open to the public.  Anyone age 13 and older can come and try rowing in one of those long, skinny boats that fit 8 rowers and one coxswain.  Parents of rowers, come and get a feeling for what your rower is working so hard on!  Sign up for a one-hour slot (8-9, 9-10, 10-11, 11-12) or get more information from Barbara Sheffels (barbsheffels@comcast.net).

The pancake breakfast:  All that cheering and rowing will work up an appetite–come and enjoy a delicious breakfast!

$30 per person for the Learn to Row & Breakfast
$20 per family for breakfast only

All the money raised goes to the capital fund for Wayland-Weston Crew, which we use to purchase boats, oars, ergs, and other equipment that keeps our team rowing fast and strong–help us get to another state championship this fall!
