Washburn4Peter Washburn is the Boys Varsity Coach.  Coach Washburn grew up in Middletown Delaware and graduated from St. Andrew’s School. He started his rowing career in high school.  He attended Syracuse University in New York and rowed all 4 years.  He has too many accomplishments to list but as a collegiate rower he won the US Lightweight 8 in 1971, the US Lightweight 4 in 1974 and earned Bronze at the World Championships.

Too many to list or remember.

I grew up in  a rowing family.  My father Michael, my two brothers rowed and my sons all row.

Given me an outlet to create something.

WHY DO YOU COACH?

I love teaching.  I love helping kids maximize their potential.  I LOVE being on the water.
