Welcome to Wayland-Weston Crew!

Wayland –Weston Crew is a high school varsity sport. We race in the girls and boys events in the fall season long-distance and spring season sprint regattas.

Who We Are

Wayland-Weston Crew is a program of Wayland-Weston Rowing Association, treatment  (WWRA) Inc.  Established in 2000, sick WWRA is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to bringing the joy of rowing to the greater Wayland-Weston community.

The mission of  Wayland-Weston Rowing Association is to offer a quality rowing experience.  Our primary focus is to offer a competitive interscholastic rowing program of excellence.  We value achievement as a team and as individuals.  We want to teach students how to set goals and achieve them, page and we want them to experience the benefits of teamwork, perseverance and discipline.  We also want them to enjoy the fun, camaraderie, and traditions of this prestigious sport.

Community Respect –  The United States rowing community is recognized for its stewardship of our vital natural resources, and for its responsible conduct in the use of public and private facilities. In keeping with this heritage, Wayland-Weston Rowing Association,  (WWRA) Inc., requires all rowing participants to adhere to theses  principles and practices.

Organization – The team’s dedicated student-athletes and coaches are supported by enthusiastic parents, alumni and friends.  The current coaching staff can be viewed on the Coaches page.

crew tent few peopleParent Volunteers – We encourage all parents to get involved.   There are ample opportunities for parents to help behind the scenes or at Regattas.  We welcome your ideas and participation! Wayland-Weston Rowing Association is an all-volunteer organization, and we need your help to make this team a success. It only works because of what you do, from organizing fundraisers to ordering uniforms to chaperoning buses to running the food tent on race day, and on and on. There are so many different ways to help, and it is a fun way to meet other parents and learn more about your rower’s new passion.
