SUMMER ROWING PROGRAMS
Come and row this summer on Lake Cochituate!
For adults, we offer learn-to-row sessions, as well as opportunities for intermediate and experienced rowers (including Wayland-Weston alums) to get out on the water. All will receive coaching from our excellent coaching staff. You do not need to be affiliated with Wayland-Weston Crew; open to the community.
For students, we offer a non-competitive sculling program to those with prior rowing experience. Come and learn to scull—it will improve your sweep rowing!
Morning and evening times available.
1) Adult Learn-to-Row Program. For adults who are interested in learning how
to row or who are just beginning to row in 8 or 4 oared shells. This is a sweep rowing
program; each rower will learn to row with one oar (as opposed to sculling, where each
rower has two oars). Sign up for 2-week sessions, beginning June 21.
2) Experienced Collegiate/Adult Rowing Program (including WWRA Alums). For
experienced rowers who are looking for a quality sweep rowing experience over the
summer. Sign up for 2-week sessions, beginning June 21.

3) Junior sculling. For Junior athletes interested in learning to scull in a non‐competitive environment with a strong focus on technical development. Participants will have the opportunity to row in quads and doubles (4 and 2 person sculling boats). You must have prior rowing experience (for example, at least one semester in a junior rowing program, or by approval of the coach). Sign up for 2-week sessions, beginning July 5.
